How to Draw Spongebob Step by Step

Step by Step Guide

Spongebob is arguably Nickelodeon's most popular cartoon character. Kids love SpongeBob. They also love drawing the character too. Although it is relatively easy to draw SpongeBob I know a lot of you struggle with his drawing. In most cases drawing SpongeBob seems difficult mostly because of the structure but usually it is due to the fact there are a lot of shapes involved. To help you out I have my own Spongebob drawing tutorial that I would like to share with you so that you too can draw SpongeBob with ease.

Start with a simple square. Mark the pores. Then add the attire. Finally color. And you are done.

Draw the head

It is flat and square.

Now the body

It is rectangular in shape.

Do a hand.

Draw the right one first.

Now a leg

Do the right leg first.

Now the other leg

You know what to do.

Next the other arm

Do the mouth as well.

Keep it wide

Give Spongebob a wide smile and a long nose.

Next comes the eyes

They are big and round.

Add the teeth

Show two teeth sticking out of his mouth.

Next the pores

Add small dots all over the face.

Get him dressed

Draw him a nice shirt and tie with square pants.

Final touches

You are almost done.

And color

Give Spongebob a nice shade of yellow.
