By practicing how to draw a baby bottle, you will be able to familiarize yourself with various shapes and lines. This beginner’s level drawing is quite easy to work on, and requires minimum effort. It is perfect for kids and newcomers alike. Each step is described in the simplest way possible so that you can process the whole concept with ease.
To draw a baby bottle, we will first start our work on the cap, and then the bottle behind it. The drawing will use shapes we are used to seeing in our everyday lives, like soda cans and capsules. Once the rough light outline is done, we will proceed to give it a darker tone, and then finish things off with some bright colors.
Take a light pencil, and draw the lid of the bottle. It will be in the shape of a half-capsule. The bottom of the lid will be a bit tapered near the ends and not completely flat.
Behind the lid of the bottle, start drawing the bottle. It will also resemble the shape of a capsule or a soda can with the top end removed. The bottom of the bottle will be a flatter compared to the lid.
The bottle's outline is done, and now you need to draw the top which will hold the cover. Simply draw a couple of curved lines that run from one end to the other.
On the curved lines, draw a thick curved shape. The shape is slightly curved, and lightly drawn.
Use a darker pencil to land a dark tone on the outline. Extend the lines towards the top a bit from both ends.
Draw a similar curve from the 4th step on top of the two extended lines. The shape will be the same like the previous one, just a bit smaller.
The shape you just drew will hold the bottle's nipple in place. Connect the two ends of the curve with a single light line.
On top of the holder, draw the nipple of the bottle. It is thick near the end, and gets thinner on the top. The top of the nipple will be completely round.
Take a sharp pencil and draw small marks on the left side of the bottle.
Use a dark pencil to darken the outlines. A single stroke with the pencil should be enough for this.
Finish the dark outlines, erase any unnecessary mark on the drawing, and you are done.
Pick some bright colors for the bottle. Avoid using flashy colors.
