The bald eagle is a symbol of pride and integrity in the United States. It stands tall on different monuments and statutes, and has its presence felt throughout various government agencies in the US by being imprinted on their crests. If you want to draw a bald eagle but do not know how, you have come to the right place. Let us explore the step by step process for drawing a bald eagle.
In order to draw a bald eagle, we will start with its head and make our way down to its feet. We will also work on its details and make it look realistic.
On the top right corner of the paper, draw a beak. It is somewhat shaped like a croissant.
Behind the beak, draw the head that looks like an octopus with four legs.
Draw a crescent moon-like curved line on the top-right side of the beak.
The wings are drawn directly under the beak and head, on the right side.
Just draw a few curled up lines on the front left side of the wing.
Add some more feathers below the ones you have just drawn.
The wing on the left is drawn with a light pencil and is pressed against the body.
Draw the legs from the lower level feathers of the body.
Show the eagle standing on a tree branch.
The tail feathers are drawn behind the branch.
Use a dark tone pencil to work out the dark tones and add a bit of depth to the drawing.
Color the eagle and make it look appealing.
