How to Draw Hiccup Step by Step

Hiccup is an easy character to draw. However, I know that many of you have trouble drawing him. That is understandable, given that it is hard to replicate any animated character free hand. Hence, if you are facing trouble drawing Hiccup, you can check out the steps I follow to draw him. I keep things relatively simple, which is perfect for beginners.

Start from the top then reach down below. Work out the details on the body and the messy hair. Then do the facial expressions and get to coloring.

Start from the top

Draw his messy hair first.

Now the rest of the head

Add the nose and eyes too.

Start drawing the arm

Do the left shoulder first.

Bring it down

Draw the arm now.

Next the body

It is drawn slightly small.

Extend the suit

Use a light pencil for this.

Now the other shoulder

It is slightly pushed back.

Continue drawing the arm

Keep it similar to the other arm you drew.

Now the leg

Start with the left one.

Then the right

Keep it going.

Draw the lower parts

Draw the boots and hook for the legs.

Almost done

Just a few more steps.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil for this.

Time to color Hiccup.
