The velociraptor is a fierce looking dinosaur. It has one of the most frightening pairs of eyes you will ever see, and although small, it has a very strong and fierce posture. So to draw a velociraptor, you will have to incorporate all those ideas in your artwork. Doing so can get difficult, especially if you are new to drawing. So in case you are in need of assistance, you can check out the steps I follow to draw these amazing looking dinosaurs.

Start with the head and then the body. Work out the tail and the claws. Then the facial features. Finally, color the drawing, and you are done.

Start from the top

Draw the head and the long neck.

Now the body

Draw the body and its long fat tail.

Go for the arms now

The elbows are folded inward.

Next the legs

The legs are drawn long.

Add some details

The details are drawn with a light pencil on the feet.

And some more details

Do similar detailing on the arms.

Now the face

Add the eyes and mouth. Give it an aggressive look.

Almost done

Just a couple of more steps.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to do the last touches.

Coloring time

The velociraptor drawing is ready. Now we only have to color it.
