How to Draw An Otter Step by Step

Step by Step Guide

Otters are very cute. I find them to be absolutely adorable. I also enjoy drawing otters. They are easy to draw, and do not take much time. But I understand that for some of you, things are not that simple. I know that drawing an otter can get difficult at times if you do not know the right steps. So to help you out, I have this tutorial I designed that you can follow.

Start from the top. Do the facial features next. Work on the body afterwards. Then add the legs and tail. Finally color it, and you are done.

Start with the mouth

It is shaped like a peanut.

Draw the head around the mouth

Keep it somewhat circular.

Add the eyes

Start working on the facial features of your otter.

Now the body

It is shaped like a pear.

Highlight the belly

A simple line will be good enough to separate it.

Add legs

Keep the thigh region bulkier than the rest.

Finish the legs

Draw all four legs.

Add the tail

It needs to be long.

Give the final touches

Use a dark pencil for this.

Now color

The otter drawing is ready. Now you will just have to color it.
