How to Draw An Elf Step by Step

If you would like to learn how to draw an elf, but are confused where to start, you are at the right place. I have been drawing elves for a while now. And over time, I have managed to perfect them. It took some practice, but I am glad with what I have learnt over time. I now believe the time is right to pass on that knowledge to all you who are just as eager to draw elves as I once was when I was small.

To draw an elf, you must focus on key elements like its ears and the body shape. After that, it is just the details on the dress and the coloring to take care of.

Start from the top

Draw the head first.

Add the ears

Keep them pointy.

Now the hat

It is also pointy at the top.

Draw the body next

The dress is drawn long, and wide near the bottom.

Now the legs

They are not that long.

Draw the hands

Show the hands holding on to the hips.

Next the shoes

Draw some buttons on the shirt as well.

Add some designs

Draw a belt, and then some stripes on the pants.

Almost done

Keep it going. Just a couple of more steps.

Finishing touches

Use a dark pencil to land the finishing touches.

Coloring the elf

The drawing is complete. Now we just have to color our elf.
