How to Draw An Ear Step by Step

The ear is an important part of the human facial expression. Hence, you need to learn how to draw an ear if you want to properly draw the human head or face. In case you do not know how to draw it, do not worry. You can check out the approach I follow to draw an ear and learn from that.

To draw an ear, start with the outline. After that follow up on the inners. Do the lobe and cavities and color it. And you are done.

Start with a curve

Draw an egg like curve.

Connect the ends

Draw a light line that connects the two ends of the curve.

Draw the inside part

Use a light pencil to draw the inner ear.

Add some depth

Sketch a few lines on the inner side.

Keep going

Continue with the lines.

Draw another curve

It is smaller and drawn on the inner part of the ear.

Extend the lobe

Use a light pencil to do so.

Sketch the outer part

The is basically the front side of your ear.

Almost done

Just a couple of more steps to go.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the final touches.

Coloring time

The drawing is complete. Now it is time to color.
