The wine bottle is one of the first things art schools will show you how to draw. It is something that has a very basic shape but lots of implications. If you do not know how to draw a wine bottle, you have come to the right place. I have experience in helping kids and adult artists with their basics, and I am pretty sure my bottle drawing approach will be of good help to you.
We start drawing from the sides and give the body its shape. Then we work out the base and the narrowed down neck. Finally, we color the bottle to finish the drawing.
Do the right side first.
Draw the left part next. It should take the shape of a flask now.
Keep it rectangular.
Make sure the edges are round.
Do the top part of the bottle in a rectangular shape.
It should be plain and simple.
Keep the neck long.
You are almost done.
Do a dark outline with a sharp pencil.
The drawing is ready. Now we just have to color it.
