Watermelons are super easy to draw. It is all about the shape really, and getting that right will do. In case you want to get a bit more creative, you are going to have to do so with the overall arrangement, and colors, which is what I personally focus on. If you want to know how that looks like, you can check out the steps I follow to draw watermelons.
To draw a watermelon, I first draw a simple slice, and then the whole fruit. The colors pop better with the red, and the green helps too. The cut slice with the whole fruit is a good look for the arrangement.
Draw an inverted V.
Draw a slanting line behind it.
Add a curve under the V.
Add a second outline to the curve.
Draw a circle behind the slice.
Draw some curvy lines on the watermelon.
Draw some more lines.
Keep things clean and simple.
Just a few more lines and you will be done.
Small dots on the slice of watermelon will work as the seeds.
Use a dark pencil to add the finishing touches.
Time to color the watermelon and give it a juicy look.
