How to Draw A T Rex Step by Step

Drawing a T Rex can be difficult. If you are not familiar with the steps, it is pretty easy to mess it up. I learnt this the hard way when I attempted to draw one using a reference image. It backfired badly, but I understood why I was facing so much trouble. Soon enough though, I worked out a super simple way to draw T Rex dinosaurs, and this is something that I believe everyone can utilize.

To draw a T Rex, we start from the head, and do the body next. Keep the mouth big, and the arms small and pressed against the body. For coloring, try using some dark colors, but light ones will also work if you want.

Start with the top

Draw the top of the head.

Now the bottom

Let us draw its big jaw next.

Do the eyes

Add the nostrils as well.

Time for the arms

They are drawn in an N like shape.

Start drawing the body

Give it a curvy look first.

Next the back

It is shaped like a quarter circle.

Now the other arm

It is similar to the first arm we drew.

Do the legs next

The legs are big and thin.

Now the other leg

This one is also thin and big in size.

Draw the tail

Give the t-rex a big tail.

Sketch the front side

Draw horizontal lines running across the front part of the drawing.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the final touches.

Coloring time

The drawing is done. Time to color.
