How to Draw A Sun Step by Step

We have all learnt how to draw the sun when we were children. But now, as we are older, we are more likely to draw something that is more detailed. That is a bit problematic for some people, especially those who are drawing after a long time. But if you try and trace the steps I follow to draw a sun, I think you will find drawing this celestial body to be quite easy.

Let us start with the basic circle, and add some flames around it. The ring of flames will be wavy. Then, add the last few touches before coloring it. And you are done. The drawing of the sun is ready.

Let us begin

Start with a circle.

Now the flames

Draw some wavy flames.

Continue the flames

Keep drawing the flames around the circle.

Keep it coming

Add some more flames.

Move upwards

Draw flames on top of the circle.

Bring it around

Now moving on to the left.

Nice and steady

You are doing great.

And some more

Keep the flames coming.

Almost done

Just a little more.

Final touches

Be sure to use a dark pencil for that.

And done

Now it is time to color the sun.
