If you want to draw a Roman soldier, but do now know how, you have come to the right place. I too struggled with this drawing, mainly because I lacked the knowledge to visualize and draw this type of figures. But I have learned to do so over time, and can now teach you how to do the same in a simple and easy way.
Draw the shield first. Then the soldier. Add the armor and sword next. Color, and your drawing is complete.
It is big and almost the same height as the soldier we are about to draw.
Draw it on the top left of the shield.
Keep the designs flat while drawing them on the shield.
Keep it slim.
Detail the face too.
You are doing great so far.
Cover from head to the hips.
Wrap it around the arms now.
The sword is thick but not too long.
Draw them slim as well.
Just a few more steps.
Get a dark pencil for that.
The Roman Soldier drawing is ready. Now you just have to color it.
