How to Draw A Puppy Light Colored Step by Step

Puppies are really adorable, especially the light colored ones. I love them so much, and they are also fun to draw. I would draw them for school, and I follow that same technique even to this day. And if you want, you too can follow my easy approach to drawing puppies. I usually color them light, but you can go for a dark color tone as well.

I start drawing the puppy from the head, and add the ears next. Then I work on its legs before doing the body. Finally, I work on the facial features, give it a nice coat of color, and it is done.

Start with the head

Keep the head oval shaped.

Add the ears

The ears are long and flappy.

Add the tiny legs

The legs are small.

Now the mouth

The mouth is drawn wide.

Draw the back legs

Use a light pencil to draw the hind legs.

Add the nose

Keep the nose round.

Add some patterns

Cover the body of the puppy with some small patterns.

Keep going

You are almost done. Just a few more steps. Add a collar while you are at it.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to draw the last touches.

Color the puppy

Time to color your puppy with some light colors.
