How to Draw A Pumpkin Step by Step

Pumpkins are easy to draw. You can draw a pumpkin just by using a few basic shapes and curves. But even then, they might seem difficult, if you are not familiar with the process. Do not worry if that is the case, because I can help you out. If you are having trouble drawing pumpkins, you can check out the steps I follow to draw them. You will find it a lot easier to draw a pumpkin using the method I follow.

Start with some curves for the front part, and repeat for the rest of the structure. Add the stalk on the top of the pumpkin. Finally, for perspective, add the back part with some small curves, and you are done.

Start with a curve

Draw a small curve.

Draw the front part

It is shaped like an oval.

Draw another one

Place this on the right.

Draw one more

This one goes on the left.

Keep going

Continue with the ovals.

One last time

Draw the last oval on the left most side.

Add the stalk

Keep the stalk wide near the bottom.

Draw the backside

Use a light pencil to mark the back of the pumpkin.

Keep going

You are almost done with your pumpkin.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to lay down the final touches.

Color it

The drawing is done. Time to color the pumpkin.
