Princesses would always fascinate me. Whether it was a movie or a story book, I would always enjoy reading about them. At one point, I took my fascination to the next level when I began to draw princesses. I was never good at it at first, but eventually found my way. And in case you too want to draw a princess, but do not know where to begin, feel free to check out the process I personally follow to draw them.
For me, I keep the princess drawing as simple as possible. The structure and facial expressions are all there. I put a bit of effort on the dress or gown. Finally, the coloring is where I take a bit of time with.
Keep it round.
The hair is medium and a bit curly.
It is a traditional dress.
Keep the sleeves short.
The skirt is long and spread.
The hands are thin.
Draw the eyes and nose and ears.
Put the crown on top of the head of the princess.
Use a dark pencil to add the final touches.
Use some bright colors to finish at princess artwork.
