A pirate ship is like any other ship drawing. You just have to add the signs, that is all. However, I know that not all of you are aware as to how you guys can draw and color a pirate ship. And I do not blame you for that. Pop culture portrays these ships differently at different times. So, I thought I would share my own approach to show you guys how you can draw a pirate ship in the easiest way possible. Do not worry, because I keep my drawing tutorial simple and easy for everyone to understand. So observe carefully as I provide you a simple masterclass on how to draw a pirate ship.

Start with the boat and cabins. Then add the sails and masts. Throw in a bit of details, and you are done. Finally complete the drawing by coloring it.

Start with the water

This will go under the ship.

Draw the boat

It is like a half moon.

Draw a front design

Keep it simple and functional.

Now the front mast

Extend the design into the mast.

Add windows

Add small windows on the ship.

Draw the cabins

Keep the shape rectangular.

Draw the sails

Draw a large one first.

Keep going

Add another sail on top of the last.

And some more

Continue with the sails.

Add the ropes

They are hanging around the ship.

Almost done

Just a little more.

Add your pirate sign

Draw it on a sail.

Coloring time

The drawing is complete. Now you just have to color it and you are done.
