How to Draw A Pine Tree Step by Step

No tree is as simple to draw as the pine tree, and yet a lot of you are confused as to how you can draw it easily. When you look at it from a normal perspective, you might think it is difficult to draw these trees. However, think of it very simply, and from the view of an artist. That way, you can get a better grip on the technique you need to draw these trees. And if you are still confused, you are more than welcomed to try out my approach.

I draw pine trees from the top, and bring them down with each step. Keep the trunk thin, and the leaves bushy. Make sure you add some leaves on the grown to add a bit of depth.

Start from the top

Use a light pencil to draw the top.

Keep going

Extend the top on the other side now.

Bring it down

Extend the tree downwards now.

Finish the structure

Finish drawing the top half of the tree.

Do the trunk now

Keep the trunk thin.

Add some grass

Throw in a bit of grass around the roots.

Start working on the leaves

Draw a few zigzag lines on the top.

Keep adding the bushy leaves

Draw the bushy leaves downwards now.

Keep going

You are doing great so far. Keep going.

Just a few more steps.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to do the final outlines.

Color it

Use some nice shades to color the pine tree.
