How to Draw A Peacock Step by Step

The peacock is a graceful animal. It is beautiful, majestic, and charming in every way you look at it. Basically, me being crazy about art and drawing, I tried drawing these magnificent birds. But I failed at my first few attempts. Eventually, however, I got to figure out the mistakes I was making and perfect my drawing. And if you too want to draw a peacock, you can check out the procedure I follow.

To draw a peacock, you start with the S shaped body. Then, you dive into the details of its tail feathers, color it, and you are done.

Do the head first

Draw it in an S shape.

Now the tail

Keep it long and bushy.

Next the legs

The legs are drawn thin.

Now the beak

The beak is drawn small.

Draw the patterns

On the peacock tail, draw some round patterns.

Add the hair

Draw some hair on the head.

Sketch eye

Keep it small and round.

Add some designs

Use a light pencil to throw in some designs on the body.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to do the final touches.

Color it

Use some nice colors and carefully color the peacock.
