A peacock has the most beautiful feathers in all of the animal kingdom. So if you want to draw them, you have to do justice to them. And the best way to do so is by accurately coloring them after you are done with the drawing. And in case you are wondering how to best approach such a complex figure, do not worry. I can show you how.
Start with the central rib. Add the top part. Then do a bit of designing and add the hairs. Finally color, and you are done.
This will be the midrib.
It is shaped like an egg.
Draw some circular designs.
Draw the feather hairs.
Continue with the hairs.
Draw hair on the left.
You know what to do.
So far so good.
Just a couple of steps left.
Use a dark pencil for this.
The peacock feather is ready. Now it is time to color.
