How to Draw A Paper Airplane Step by Step

If you want to draw a paper airplane but do not know how or where to start, it is okay. I too have struggled with these drawings in the past. But over time, I have only gotten better. While I could make paper planes quite easily, I could never draw them on pen and paper. I, however, did not give up. And slowly but surely, learnt to draw them with ease. And if you try out my steps, you will be able to draw them as well.

We start by some basic shapes. Just a few lines and triangles. Then, we do the edges, and finish it off with some colors.

Start from the top

Draw a triangle.

Add the bottom part

Draw another triangle below the first one.

Do the other side

Draw a similar triangle like the first one.

Do the bottom next

Repeat the same drawing as before.

Now the lower part

Keep it pointy.

Darken the outline

Use a dark pencil to do the outline.

Add a few dots

Use a sharp pencil to draw the dots.

Keep going

Keep drawing the dots. They show the trail of the paper plane.

You are almost done. Just a few more steps.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the last touches.

Throw in a few shades

Use a light pencil to add some shades to the paper plane.
