How to Draw A Nose Step by Step

If you want to draw a human face accurately, you need to know how to draw a nose. The nose is one of the most important facial features of the human face. If you fail to get it right, the drawing of the face will look out of shape. So you need to know how to draw human noses with utmost precision, something that I have learnt to do over the years.

To draw a human nose, you start with the basic structure. Then you add the nostrils. Finally, you work on the lines and curvatures, and you are done.

Start with a curve

Draw a curve on the left side of the paper.

Another curve

Draw a similar curve on the other side.

Extend the curve

Give the curve a round end.

Do the same for the other side

Draw a similar round end for the other curve.

Next the cavity

Draw the cavity for the left side.

Now the other one

Sketch the cavity for the right side.

Keep going

You are almost done with the drawing.

Smoothen the outline

Use a sharp pencil to do so.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the last touches.

Coloring time

Your drawing is done. Time to color the nose.
