Do you want to draw a mandala, but do not know where to start? If that is the case, do not worry. I can help you out with your mandala drawing. I have been practicing these designs for a long time now, and have gotten really good at drawing them. I even ended up working out my own mandala drawing technique which I am sure will help you draw them easily, and in an attractive manner. All you need to do is watch the process, and trace the steps as you draw along.

Start with the inner most design, or star shape. Surround it with a circle. Then keep repeating the process till you reach the outer shell or circle. Each border has its own unique look, so keep that in mind. Finally, you simply have to color the drawing, and you are done.

Draw a star

This star will act as the inner most design, or the center piece of our mandala.

Cover it up

Draw a circle or star like shape outside the center piece.

Add some designs

Do some diagonal designs inside the outer boundary. Use a sharp pencil and draw lightly.

Add another boundary

Keep this one circular with small circles bordering the outline.

One more border

This one is more of a semi circular shape.

Draw the outermost circle

This will be the last part of the mandala, hence it needs to be big.

Do the inner one now

Draw a circle inside the outermost circular region.

Add some more designs

Keep it going, you are almost done.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil for this.

Let us color

The mandala drawing is ready. Now you just have to color it.
