Hummingbirds are very adorable. They have this cute appeal to them that makes them stand out among all other birds. If you want to draw a hummingbird, you need to ensure that cuteness in your artwork. However, it is understandable if you do not know how to do so. I too have struggled with such drawings, but over time, I have gotten better through practice. And if you want, you can try drawing hummingbirds using the same steps I follow. It is a much easier approach, and will take you very little time to draw hummingbirds using this procedure.
To draw a hummingbird, we start with the body and then move over to the wings. We then add a few curvy lines on the body and then draw the beak. Finally, we draw the facial features, wings and tail, and complete the artwork by coloring the whole thing.
Start with the hummingbird’s body.
Draw both wings on the bird. The wing at the back is only partially visible.
Draw a simple curved design on the bird’s belly.
The beak is long and a bit sharp.
Use a sharp pencil to darken the outlines.
Keep the eye round and small.
The feet is short and is clawed.
A few curvy lines on the wings will work as the feathers.
Draw similar designs on the tail as well, just like you did for the wings.
Your drawing is done. Just need to add a bolder outline on it.
Take out your colors and start coloring the hummingbird.
