As kids, we used to draw a house using just a few basic shapes. But as we grew older, and our creative thinking evolved, we began to put in a lot more thought into our drawings. However, while trying to make things more complex to show our creative development, I understand that many of you lose track of the basics. As a result, your house drawings seem a bit off. But if you stick to the basics, and work your way around them, the house sketch will look great. And if you have any doubts regarding this methodology, feel free to check out how I draw a beautiful house by just sticking to the basics.
To draw a house, we first draw the basic shapes and form the main structure. Then we work our way around them to give it a house like look. Finally, once the details have been added, we color our house drawing and finish the artwork.
Draw two rectangles side by side. The left one is slightly bigger than the one on the right.
Draw two parallelograms on top of the houses. They will act as the roofs.
Draw a triangle on the roof of the bigger house. Add some steps under the bigger house.
Extend the triangle to form a grand entrance to your house.
Give the house some big windows.
Place the door in the middle of the stairs.
Make the house look elegant with these little designs.
Use a dark pencil to add the final touches.
The house is done. But it is not ready yet. Give your house some nice colors to complete the art piece.
