How to Draw A Hoodie Step by Step

Step by Step Guide

You do not need to be a fashion designer to draw a hoodie or any other piece of clothing. It can be drawn very easily if you follow the right steps. I really enjoy making my own hoodie designs, and I start drawing them by drawing an actual hoodie at first. If you want to draw a hoodie, you could follow the steps I use to draw them.

To draw a hoodie, we start with the extended hood or neck, and move on to the sleeves. Following the sleeves, we draw the main body of the hoodie. Then, we add a few designs, where you can get as creative as you want to, and then finally color the whole thing.

Start with the hood

Draw the extended hood of the hoodie. It is shaped like a flat dome.

Next the sleeves

Keep the sleeves long and straight.

Now the main body

The body extends almost up to the length of the sleeves.

Add some designs

Put these designs on the arm.

Some more designs

Put this one on the bottom of the hoodie.

Add a pocket

The pocket is placed in the middle of the hoodie.

Add details to the hood

Give it some depth by drawing its front part in a folded manner.

Keep going

You are almost done.

Add the adjusters

These adjusters are attached to the hood to help tighten or loosen the fitting of the hood.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil to add the last few touches.

Coloring time

Time to color your hoodie. Give it a nice bright color.
