How to Draw A Hibiscus Step by Step

I love flowers. Some flowers are just pretty to look at and some come with a soothing aroma. Out of all the flowers out there, hibiscus is one of my favorites. It is beautiful to look at, and also has a gentle aroma. It is also colorful and demands attention wherever it is. Drawing a hibiscus is something I do really well, mostly because I love it so much. But I understand that not all of you can draw them such easily. So, to help you out, I can show you the steps you need to follow to draw them.

Start with the petals. Then the stalk. Add some leaves. Color everything and you are done.

Draw the petals

Start with one.

Add some more

Continue with the petals

Keep going

Draw five petals.

Now the stamen

It is long and thin and comes out from the center of the flower.

Draw another flower

This one is not yet in bloom.

Make it tubular

It has a thick tube shape.

Show it closed

The petals on this one are closed.

Now some leaves

Draw them adjacent to the flower.

Then the stalk

It should be slender.

Final touches

Get a dark pencil for this.

Now we color

Give the hibiscus flower a nice red color.
