How to Draw A Gas Mask Step by Step

A gas mask has a complicated structure. With all the protection features, it becomes difficult to pin point the exact structure and design of the mask. But if you want to draw a gas mask, you need not think so much. Just stick to the basics like I do. Start with the structure. Add the mouth and side pieces. Draw the eyes. Color, and you are done.

Start with the outline

Draw an oval shape with a somewhat flat top and bottom.

Add the eye sockets

Keep the circles big

Now the side pieces

Draw two flat cylinders.

Add a double outline

Do so for the eyes.

Now the mouth piece

This too will be round.

Add the inner side

Do so for the side pieces.

Add some details

So far so good.

Add the filter

This is for the mouth piece.

Now add final touches

Do so with a dark pencil.

Now color

The gas mask is ready. Now you just have to color it.
