Drawing a firefly is quite a simple task. It does not take that long to draw a firefly, and the steps are quite easy once you get the hang of it. The approach I follow will take a bit of practice to perfect, but if you keep at it, you can draw a firefly with absolute ease.
To draw a firefly, you first start with the head and then draw the body and wings. Next you work on the antennas and the light, add a last few touches, and then color it.
Draw the head round, almost shaped like a whistle.
Give the body an egg like shape.
Three of the feet are visible on the left side of the fly, and one on the other side.
The wings are oval shaped and pressed against the firefly’s body.
The eyes are drawn perfectly round.
Use a light pencil to add the small details on the wings.
Draw a few spiral designs on the firefly’s wings.
You are doing great so far. Keep going.
Draw the antennas with a light pencil. There are two of them, one above each eye.
Use a dark pencil to add the final touches to your drawing and finish it.
