If you want to draw a dog, but don’t know how, you’ve come to the right place. I too have had troubles drawing dogs, but I eventually managed to get the hang of it after plenty of practice. I know that you probably don’t have a lot of time in your hands to do the same, which is why I suggest you simply follow the stepwise approach I use to draw dogs.
To draw a dog, we start with the head and then work on the body. We show the tongue sticking out, and tail a bit bushy. The eyes are drawn round and made to look cute. Finally, we add a last few touches to the drawing and finish things off.
It is in the shape of a large pear.
The body is curvy at the back, and sort of shaped like an eggplant.
Give your doggy some long ears and a big mouth.
The nose is small but the mouth is drawn a bit wide.
Two small round eyes on each side of the nose.
The tongue is drawn a bit short and sticking out.
Give your dog a small bushy tail.
Draw small patches on the dog’s body.
Add the final touches with a dark pencil.
Give the patches a black color.
The rest of the dog is colored with a much lighter coat of paint.
