How to Draw A Deer Step by Step

The deer is a majestic animal, and it has a beautiful appearance. If you want to draw a deer, you need to make sure that you’re able to highlight all its charming traits. In case you don’t know how to do so, don’t worry. I have been drawing deer for a while now, and I know how you can draw them in the easiest way possible.

To draw a deer, you start with its head and facial features. Afterwards, you move towards the body, draw its legs, and then finish things of at its horns. Finally, once the details are there, you color the deer and give it a lifelike appeal.

Draw the head first

Use a light pencil to draw the head.

Add some facial features

Draw a few lines across the face. They will be used later for the eyes, nose and mouth.

Start drawing the body

Draw the deer’s body with a light pencil.

Add legs

Give your deer two long legs.

Add the other legs

These legs are drawn at the back side.

Add eyes

Draw the eyes on the deer’s face with a light tone pencil.

Draw the horns

Two long horns are draw on top of the deer’s head.

Sharpen the drawing

Use a dark pencil to give your drawing a sharp tone.

Color it

Your drawing is done. Now you just have to color it.
