You can follow a simple approach for drawing a deer skull, something I’ve been doing for quite a while now. To draw a deer skull, we start with the main outlines for the skull, and then add a few small details. We then draw the horns, and a few marks running across the deer skull. Finally, to top things off, we use a sharper pencil to redo the outlines, and our drawing is complete.

Start with the head

Draw the head in the shape of a big carrot.

Deepen the outlines

Use a dark pencil to deepen the outline of the head.

Add some details

Use a light pencil to add the holes for the horns.

Sharpen the drawing

Use a dark pencil to give the holes a sharper look.

Add a horn

Draw the left horn.

The other horn

Draw the right horn now.

Horns at the back

Draw the other horns at the back of the previous horns.

Draw the marks

Draw some lines across the deer’s skull.

Finishing touches

Use a dark pencil to add the final details.

Coloring time

You are done drawing the skull. Now you just have to color it.
