A crown needs to be elegant and have a royal vibe to it. After all, it’s the ornament that separates the king or queen from their subjects. In your crown drawing, you also need to reflect a similar appeal. But this is easier said than done, because a lot of you are probably unaware of how such an appeal can be reflected in a pencil drawing. If you’re confused how to do so, don’t worry, I’m here to help you out.
To draw a crown, you first start with the base, and then proceed upwards. Once the basic structure is done, you can then work on the design and depth of the crown. And there you go, the crown is ready.
Start by drawing a wide and thick ring shape.
A thin outline at the bottom shall do the trick here.
The top has a flat oval shape.
Draw small circles on the crown’s body. These are the jewels.
This time, it is a long and curvy double edged line.
They are drawn as if they were small chess pieces.
Add some more designs on the top.
The ornaments at the front are a bit bigger.
Just a little more to do.
Use a dark pencil to draw the outline again, and give it some depth.
The crown is ready, your highness. Now it is time to color.
