How to Draw A Cow Step by Step

Cows are some of the most common animals that young artists are taught to draw in school. Of course, many schools do not emphasize much on the drawing process of cows because they assume it is super easy to draw them. While it is easy to draw a cow, not everyone can work their way around the process. So to help you out, I have developed my own cow drawing tutorial. It is super easy and perfect for beginners. With just a few steps, anyone can draw a cow and that is what you will see from my tutorial.

Start with the head. Draw the facial features. Then the body and legs. Add the tail and udder. Do the body patterns and color it.

Start with the head

Keep it wide and big.

Now the horns

Draw the eyes while you are at it.

Next the ears

Let them be somewhat elongated.

Now the body

First draw the back of the cow.

Draw the belly

You know what to do.

Next comes the legs

They should appear strong and thin.

Now some patterns

We will go with the typical Australian black and white pattern.

Add some more details

Draw the tail and udder.

Keep it going

You are almost there. Just a little more.

Final touches

Use a dark pencil for this.

Color it

The cow drawing is ready. Now you just have to color it.
