How to Draw A Cherry Step by Step

Cherries are delicious, there is no doubt about that. They are also some of the cutest fruits you will every lay your eyes on. Cherries are also quite easy to draw, since there is nothing complex about their appearance. However, if you are still looking for a drawing guide as reference, you can follow the steps I personally follow to draw cherries.

To draw a cherry, you first start with the main fruit body. Then, you move on to its small stalk. Finally, to add a bit of finesse, you include a small leaf on the stalk, and your cherry drawing is ready.

Start with a small curve

Draw a small curve on the right side of the paper.

Complete the cherry

Draw the other side of the fruit with another curve.

Draw one more cherry

Start drawing another cherry at the back.

Complete drawing the cherry

The new cherry is similar to the first one.

Darken the outlines

Use a dark pencil to sharpen the outlines.

Add a stalk

Draw the fruit stalk on the left cherry.

Draw another stalk

This time on the other fruit.

Add a small leaf

It is a simple leaf on the top of the cherry stalk.

Darken the leaf outline

To do so, use a dark pencil with some slight pressure.

Almost done

Add the final touches.

Color it

Use a bright red or cherry red color on the body, and green for the leaf.
