I know a lot of you are afraid of trying to draw a castle, and you have good reason to feel that way. From a distance, drawing a castle may look difficult. But once you start drawing it, and take a step by step approach to do so, you will feel that it is getting a lot easier. If you are struggling with your castle drawings, you can follow the same stepwise approach that I use to draw my castles.
To draw a castle, you start with a few basic shapes and add to them. The smaller details, like the doors and windows, are drawn with a light pencil. Once the main structure is ready, you can use a darker pencil to sharpen the drawing a bit.
Draw a line, and a square shape on top of it.
Draw two towers, one on each side of the square shaped wall.
In the middle of the front wall, draw a thumb shaped door.
A pyramid shaped roof top is added on the castle.
Add some designs on the roof top, and a flag pole on top of it.
Add a couple of more towers at the back. These towers are higher than ones before.
In front of the door, draw a gate that is half down.
The front door has another smaller door that is the main entry point into the castle. Draw it with a light pencil.
Add windows to all the towers.
Rectangle shaped bricks are drawn on some parts of the castle.
We draw a few more bricks sticking out of the walls.
Use a sharp pencil to darken the outlines.
Give your castle some colors and make it look majestic.
