If you want to draw a candle but do not know where to start, you are at the right place. I too have struggled in the past with my candle drawings. However, I have improved a lot in recent times. That is because I managed to practice and develop my own approach to drawing some simple candles. And if you want, you too can trace my steps and work your way around my approach to drawing a candles. It is super easy to follow, and will only take you a few minutes to finish.
Start with the base and then the cylindrical body. Add a flame. Put in some depth perception, and color.
Draw a flat circle.
Do another flat circle on top of the previous one.
Give a small cylinder shape at the bottom.
Draw a narrow cylinder.
Show that it is somewhat molten.
Draw a small flame.
Increase the size of the flame.
Just a couple of more steps.
Get a dark pencil for this.
The candle drawing is ready. Now we just have to color it.
