A bird nest looks really messy in real life, but we do not have to draw it like that. We want to draw something that looks simple, and yet has the appeal of a natural and realistic looking bird's nest. What say we try to do so together?
We draw our bird's nest using a top to bottom approach, and add details wherever necessary. And to give it a natural look, we will be using the appropriate colors.
Draw two curvy lines on the right side of the paper.
Finish drawing the rest of the nest using similar curves, like hill tops.
Draw an oval shaped egg in the middle of the nest.
Draw wavy lines on the left side of the egg.
Continue the wavy lines under the egg.
Take the wavy lines rightwards.
Bring the wavy lines to the right end of the egg.
Use a dark tone pencil to sharpen the outline.
Use a light pencil to give the underside of the nest a double layer.
Add small curvy lines on the nest’s body.
Use a dark pencil to give the drawing a vivid look.
Color the nest using light colors.
