A basketball has a very simple shape and design. But even then, I had trouble drawing it. And I know that many of you feel the same too. You too have trouble drawing basketballs. But now, I know how you can draw them with ease and have come up with my own technique. And I can guarantee that if you stay true to my process, you can draw a basketball with absolute ease, just like I can right now.
Start with a curve, and then the circle. Do the interior detailing. Finally, color it, and you are done.
Draw it with a light pencil.
Turn the curve into a circle.
First, do a line across the ball.
One more line for the design.
Keep the lines coming.
Just a couple of steps left.
Get a dark pencil for this.
The drawing is ready. Now you just have to color.
