Painting mountains has always been a hobby of mine. I paint mountains to find peace, and a bit of tranquility in my own adobe. Over the years, I’ve progressively grown better at these paintings, and all this was achieved thanks to lots of hard work, and a bit of help from some amazing tutorials on how to paint mountains.
They key to painting fascinating mountain landscapes is perspective. You need to imagine the view you want to see, and imprint in on to the canvas. Next, you need to work a lot with the color shades, as that is the main component that can make all the difference in your painting. With all that done, you then need to work out the details, and make your painting come alive.
In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how to paint a beautiful mountain range using acrylic paints. The details in this painting have been achieved through amazing color shading. It’s this precise using of light and shading effects that gives this painting life. If you’re somewhat experienced with acrylic painting, or confident of your skills, you should definitely give this a try.
