How To Paint Apples

10 Amazing (and Easy!) Tutorials

Introduction

I enjoy painting apples just as much as I enjoy eating them. Of course, painting apples takes a lot more effort, especially when you don’t know where to start. When I faced this issue, I observed a few tutorials on how to paint apples, and eventually got better results with my paintings. If these tutorials worked for me, there’s no reason as to why they won’t work for you.

To paint apples, you first start with the lighter shades. In this case, it can be yellow or even light green, depending on the type of apple you’re painting. Next you blend the lighter shade with a darker variant or tone, and let the colors bleed into one another for a proper transition. You can even take this approach in the reverse order, that is work on the dark tone first, and then the lighter ones. Afterwards, you top things off by adding necessary details and lighting effects.
