To me, the rose is a romantic flower that symbolizes love, affection, and beauty. But no matter how hard I tried, I could never get my paintings of this wonderful flower to symbolize the same. I then carefully studied a few tutorials on how to paint a rose, and realized where I had been going wrong. Afterwards, I took those tutorials, and compiled them into a list, so that other aspiring artists don’t have to bear the burden of finding the best rose painting tutorials.
A rose is painted by ensuring three things. The first is the symmetry of the flower, and how you’re positioning it in the artwork. Next, you decide on the petals and whether the rose will be in full bloom or not. Finally, you work on the color or sketching ideas, and throw in all the necessary details. Once you’ve done all that, you’ll have a stunning painting of a beautiful rose.
This rose drawing tutorial is ideal for kids of all ages. It’s super easy to follow, and doesn’t require any fancy drawing or coloring techniques. The approach is absolutely simple, making it perfect for kids to work on. Don’t be fooled by its simplicity though, because by the time you’ve finished painting it, the rose will look anything but simple. In fact, despite the easy approach, the finished drawing looks quite nice and charming.
