Dandelions have this serene and peaceful vibe to them that I absolutely adore. I love dandelions a lot, and I also enjoy capturing their magnificence on my canvas. But at one point, I realized that I was doing it the wrong way. My dandelion paintings seemed a bit off to me, which is why I sought help from a few YouTube tutorials on how to paint a dandelion. Afterwards, my artworks improved dramatically, and I was finally content with them. If you’re having to face difficulties like me, I recommend you do what I do, and study these tutorials to find an approach that’s perfect for you.
You can paint dandelions in three simple steps. First, you do the background, or visualize the setting. Next, you paint the flower itself. Finally, you add necessary details, and maybe a few dandelion seeds flying in the wind. And there you go, the perfect dandelion painting.
In this simple painting tutorial, we look at dandelions blowing in the wind. It’s a pretty straightforward painting, and doesn’t involve any complex techniques. The coloring seems a bit off, but it can be excused, given how this is a painting tutorial for beginners. There are no shades, or lighting effects used in this painting.
