Introduction
Drawing birds is not a difficult thing to do, that is if you’re aware of the proper techniques and approach needed to do so. When I first started drawing birds, I wasn’t quite sure how to do it right. I’m going to assume that many of you have faced similar problems. You start drawing something, but then realize that you’re probably doing it wrong. Don’t worry, because I’ve got you covered. While working on my bird drawing skills, I came across some amazing tutorials on how to draw birds, which helped me a lot, and I’m pretty sure that you too can benefit from them.
There are three ways to draw birds. The first is the easy way, where you ditch the details, and put out a simple sketch. Next is the intermediate way for artists who prefer a bit of finesse in their artworks. Finally, there’s the hard, or advanced way, where your sketch or drawing will be made to look as realistic as possible.
Simple Bird Drawing
This video tutorial is ideal for beginners. It will show you how to draw a bird in a few simple steps. The drawing lacks details, but makes up for it with the pencil shades. The shades are simple, yet very effective in terms of making the drawing look a bit livelier. This drawing would’ve been a perfect 5 out of 5 if only it had a bit more to offer in terms of details.

In this video tutorial, the artist will provide you with a comprehensive, and step by step lesson on drawing birds. The drawings shown in this video are very detailed. They aren’t smoothly drawn, but the purpose behind this video is to teach you the process only. You can perfect these drawings later on. But for now, you should only focus on the approach that’s to be taken while drawing these birds.

In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how to create a simple bird drawing. This drawing is perfect for kids. It’s simple, and easy to work on, which makes it the perfect drawing for them to work on. This bird closely resembles the appearance of a dove. It’s a quick and simple drawing, with an equally quick and simple drawing approach.

Realistic Bird Sketch
For our next video tutorial, we’ll be looking at the process of sketching a realistic bird. The drawing is very detailed and the shades are perfectly done. This drawing has good depth in it, which makes it look so realistic. This is clearly a professional level artwork, and the tutorial is aimed at advanced artists. However, even if you’re not that experienced, but are interested to work on, do give it a try.

Magnificent Drawing of a Bird
This is one of the best bird drawings I’ve ever seen. It’s very nicely drawn, and has proper shades and details. Moreover, the drawing has a smooth finish to it. You can’t even say that it’s been done using pencils. That being said, it’s a difficult art piece, and the video demonstration is aimed at experienced artists. But, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try it. In fact, I believe that if you’re confident enough, you can draw anything, no matter how difficult it is.

This video tutorial will show you how to draw a simple bird. I believe this is a tutorial that’s perfect for kids. There’s nothing complex about this drawing. It’s quite simple, and mostly involves straightforward pencil strokes. It also lacks shades and details, making it the ideal bird drawing for kids to work on.

This is another kid friendly drawing demonstration where they’ll learn how to draw a cute bird. It’s a simple drawing, and there’s nothing difficult about it. If anything, the bird has a cute appearance, and looks like those drawings from children’s coloring books. Hence, I think this tutorial will fit well with all the other videos aimed at kids.

Quick and Easy Sparrow Sketch
Although it may look difficult from a distance, this sketch is actually quite easy to do. The tutorial is also well-structured, and quite detailed. The whole process is explained to you in a simple and easy way. Sketching this sparrow won’t be that difficult. It’s a very straightforward approach, and beginners too will be able to enjoy working on it.

In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how to draw birds on a tree. The approach for this drawing is extremely simple, and doesn’t involve any difficult or fancy technique. With a bit of patience, you can draw this piece perfectly. The drawing has this nice shading done to it, which may not be that detailed or perfect, but it still helps to give the artwork a nice and smooth finish.

Realistic Eagle Head Drawing
This video demonstration features a realistic eagle head drawing that looks perfect in every way. It’s not at all an easy thing to draw. In fact, I found this to be the hardest drawing in this list. Everything about this drawing is picture perfect. I recommend you try replicating this only if you’re a professional or experienced pencil artist. Apart from that, I’d also encourage new and less experienced artists to try it out, just to see how complicated pencil sketches can get.
