Introduction
Squirrels are cute, and if you know how to draw a squirrel properly, you can bring out that cuteness in your artworks. However, I know that like me, many of you find squirrels difficult to draw. Despite being small, and having no complex physical appearance or features, drawing squirrels can get complicated at times, if you don’t know what you’re doing. I managed to overcome these complications by studying a bunch of squirrel drawing tutorials. The tutorials were really helpful, and I think that you too can learn how to draw a squirrel easily by studying them.
There are three ways to draw a squirrel. In the first way, you can simply draw the squirrel’s outline and be done with it. The second approach is a bit more complex, and is more of a portrait. Here, you’ll need to work on some minor details as well. The third and final way to draw a squirrel is the realistic way, where you’ll have to work on a few details, as well as on the depth of your whole drawing.

In this video tutorial, the artist will show you how to draw a cute cartoon squirrel. It’s a drawing tutorial for kids, and is quite easy to follow. These types of drawings are common in children’s drawing books, and hence, I believe that they’ll feel really comfortable working on it. Besides, the tutorial is pretty self-explanatory, and kids won’t need any external help for this.

This realistic squirrel drawing is perfect for beginners to work on. Despite the fact that it lacks depth, it still manages to pull off a nice lifelike look. There aren’t many details to work on here, so you need to put emphasis on whatever key element you come across, like the eyes, or the squirrel’s tail.

If realistic drawings aren’t your thing, and you’d rather work on something simpler, this the drawing tutorial you’re looking for. It’s a basic squirrel line drawing, and is extremely easy to work on. The art, although very simple, still looks quite attractive to me. It’s not the smoothest of drawings, but it still has a nice finish to it.

In this video tutorial, the artist will show you the process of sketching a realistic squirrel, in a quick and easy way. The lifelike appeal in this drawing comes from the way it’s been sketched. If you notice carefully, you’ll see that the artist didn’t bother much with the details, and instead, put more emphasis on the sketch. Here, the realistic look comes from the depth from the way the squirrel has been sketched.

If you’re in a hurry, or just want to draw a squirrel without bothering about how real it looks, this is the tutorial you need. It’s a cute cartoon squirrel, and it’s very easy to replicate. The tutorial is perfect for beginners, and is very well explained as well. I don’t think there will be any problems understanding what’s been done in this video.

Quick and Easy Squirrel Drawing
In this lesson, the artist will show you an easy way to draw the squirrel outline. This art piece is technically a line drawing, with a bit of detailing on the tail fur. When I say detailing, I mean that the tail has these small curves and lines that resemble rough patches of fur. This is an interesting touch, in my opinion, as it helps to make the drawing look a bit different, and better.

I actually tried to replicate this drawing because I was kind of bored with the regular squirrel drawings. I needed something fun to distract myself, and I ended up working on this rather fun art piece. It’s not a difficult thing to draw, and doesn’t require much effort either. The tutorial will get you through this drawing in no time. If you want, you can even get a bit more creative with this drawing, and add a background or other elements in it.

This is the hardest squirrel drawing tutorial on this list. It’s also the most stunning squirrel drawing on this list. The artwork shows a realistic squirrel sketch. This drawing has been done with pen, and is perfect in every way. From the depth, to the details, everything looks so mesmerizing. This is what a masterpiece should look like. All that being said, and despite the fact that the video does a good job in showcasing the drawing process, this is a difficult piece to work on, and I recommend you try this only if you’re a skilled sketch artist.

In this video tutorial, the artist will show you how to draw the squirrel from the movie, Ice Age. This squirrel is a popular character, and is notoriously known for causing many catastrophic disasters in the movies. Children are quite fond of him, and will enjoy a tutorial that can teach them how to draw him.

This baby squirrel drawing is very cute, and also quite easy to work on. I find this drawing really adorable, and prefer using it in postcards. If you want, you can even make cutouts of this drawing, and use it as simple paper decoration during the holiday season.
