Introduction
One of the first things they teach you at art schools these days is how to draw a pineapple. It's not a difficult fruit to draw, but it helps students to develop their drawing skills. I decided to draw a pineapple recently after a long time, and was wondering how I could do it perfectly without making any mistake. Although I knew my way around this delicious fruit, I still decided to hone my pineapple drawing skills by observing a few pineapple drawing tutorials on YouTube. If you're picking up your pencil to do the same, I'd suggest that you too take your time to study some of the videos I did.
You can draw a pineapple in two ways. In the first way, you start with the leaves, and in the second way, you start by drawing the fruit itself. Once you're done with the fruit and the top leaves, you can then work on the lines on the pineapple's body. Finally, you work out the other necessary details, and give it a finishing touch.
Easy Pineapple Drawing Tutorial
This video tutorial describes a basic approach to drawing pineapple. It’s described in a manner which is similar to the way they teach you how to draw pineapples in art school or class. It’s very easy, and doesn’t have that many details. It could use a bit more in terms of the overall structure, as well as the detailing, but I won’t complain, given that it’s a tutorial for beginner level artists.

If you’re looking for a quick pineapple drawing process, this is the tutorial you need. It’s not the best pineapple drawing in the world, but it’s more than enough to serve your purpose. The drawing looks like a computer icon, and has a smooth finish to it, making it look quite artificial.
