Like me, I’m almost certain that many of you had to learn how to draw a frog. This could either be for those high school science classes, or just out of curiosity. Whatever be the reason, I can tell that not all of you were that intrigued by the idea of drawing frogs. This isn’t because frogs aren’t interesting enough, but probably because the techniques you followed were not suited for you. I too faced a similar problem, and it wasn’t until recently that I realized how I should’ve drawn my frogs. Thanks to a handful of frog drawing tutorials on YouTube, I am finally able to perfect my frog drawings, as well as enjoy working on them.
To draw a frog, you first draw its body, then its head, and finally its legs. Most of your attention to detail should be focused on the head, and the legs. The eyes are vital elements of the frog’s body, and if you can draw them perfectly, the rest of your artwork will automatically take care of itself.
This frog line drawing is for those who can’t spend more than 5 minutes on their artworks. It’s a quick and easy process, and requires minimum effort. The tutorial will help you get through the whole process. Although there’s nothing wrong with drawing something so hastily, I personally prefer artworks with a bit more effort put into them. That being said, I’d still suggest that you practice this drawing, since it might come in handy.

Usually, I would be fine with using pencil instead of pen and ink for any drawing. But for this one, I highly recommend you go with the pen and ink. This drawing of a regular tree frog has a nice funky vibe. It’s an actual art piece, and I quite like it. The ink helps to give it a bolder look. This tutorial is not that difficult, and even as a beginner, you’ll feel quite comfortable with it.
