If you’re eager to draw or sketch a forest, but don’t know where to start, you’ve come to the right place. You see, I too have struggled with my forest drawings until I did my own research on how to draw a forest, and discovered some amazing tutorials. Those tutorials really helped me out, and I’m sure that you too will find them useful.
To draw a forest, you first need to determine the elements you’re going to keep in your drawing. Next, you set up a scene, and decide on the timing of the day or scene. Once you’ve done all that, you’re all set to start working on your forest drawing.
Kids love to make their drawings stand out. In trying to do so, they often mess things up, and fail to give shape to their work. This forest drawing tutorial is specifically aimed at kids, so that they don’t mess up their artwork. It’s simple, and will also allow kids to add a few elements on their own without disrupting the main structure. This drawing is nothing fancy, but it’s ideal for kids of all ages.

For this next video tutorial, you’ll be placed right at the heart of a beautiful forest with tall trees. By looking at the drawing below, you can easily tell that it’s a sunny day, and you’re probably hiking (or lost?) deep inside the forest. The artist does a fine job with the shading. It’s a very simple process, but the results are quite astonishing.

If you want to test your drawing and sketching skills, and push yourselves to the limit, this is the drawing you should try out. It’s one of the most complex pieces of art I’ve ever laid my eyes on. Just looking at this gave me the chills. It’s a fine work of art that uses precise shading and high levels of detail to give the drawing a realistic appearance. A brilliant masterpiece this!

What makes a drawing minimalistic is the way it’s arranged using very few elements or details. This is exactly what this pine forest drawing tutorial is all about. Here, you’ll get to learn how to draw a simple minimalistic forest using just a pen. There’s no sketching or any fancy shading effect here. It’s as plain and simple as a drawing can be.

It’s really hard to believe that this is a drawing and not a photograph taken in black and white. The shear brilliance of this artwork leaves me speechless. I’m unable to find words to describe this drawing, as well as the talented individual who drew it. This is one of the few drawings that has intimidated me. It has so much depth to it that you’ll be confused as to where to start with this drawing, and where to end.

In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how you can draw a road with forest landscape on its either sides. The road here divides the drawing into two paths, and almost gives the forest a symmetrical look. There’s a good amount of detail in this artwork, but it’s not too overdone. For someone with intermediate knowledge of drawing and sketching, this artwork would be ideal to try out.

In this tutorial, we look at the drawing of a house in the middle of a forest. It’s a very simple drawing if you look at it closely. The shading is quite nicely done, and has a rough texture to it. This drawing also didn’t bother much with detailing. It’s a very rough sketch, and its appeal comes from this roughness. Not a masterpiece, but certainly a drawing that’s quite nicely done.

In this video, you’ll get to see how an artist brings his drawing to life with their amazing sketching skills. This stunning artwork looks almost real. It’s got all the elements you’d expect in a masterpiece, and then some more. I still find it hard to believe as to how this is a drawing and not a high resolution photograph. If you’re eager to work on this drawing, make sure you’ve got the right skills. I suggest you practice each portion of the drawing separately first, before you try to paint the bigger picture.

This drawing is the perfect example of how you can bring amazing lighting effects to your artwork, even if it’s just a simple sketch. The coordination between the light and dark tones really sets this drawing apart. You can clearly tell that the artist went for a sunny day vibe with this drawing. In addition to that, this piece is also very well done in terms of shades and details.

In this drawing, we take a look at a rocky path that crisscrosses through a dense forest. The artist here has been very careful while working on the details here. You can tell that there's a smoothness in the drawing, despite the rough shading. That's mostly because the shades are distributed evenly across the details. In addition to that, you can tell that the artist has put in a good amount of effort in adding light and shadow effects.
