Introduction
The dragon is one of the most popular mythological creatures to have ever existed, and it’s intriguing presence is what makes a lot of artists to include them in their drawings, or dedicated entire art pieces to them. That being said, the dragon is not an easy thing to draw. I myself have struggled with my dragon drawings, and wanted to improve. So, I ended up studying a few tutorials on how to draw a dragon. Doing so really helped me improve my work, and I bet that you too can be benefitted by observing them.
There are two ways to draw a dragon. You can take the 2D approach, or go for the more realistic looking 3D one. The 2D drawing will require less work, and is easy to draw. The 3D drawing, on the other hand, can be made to look as you want it to look. You can give it a cartoonish look, or even a realistic one. Mind you, the 3D drawing can be a bit difficult to work on, and you might need a bit of experience with the 2D one first.

This here is a dragon drawing tutorial for kids. It’s a simple ice or blue dragon drawing. The drawing is in 2D, and isn’t that hard to work on. Kids will enjoy working on this, especially if they’re into cartoons. Such drawings are quite popular among them as they get to see variations of this creature on different cartoon shows.

It’s an easy tutorial to follow, and perfect for kids. They’ll love working on this drawing, partly because it’s so easy to draw, and partly because it’s one of their most favorite cartoon characters.

In this video tutorial, you’ll get to see how to draw a fire breathing dragon. The drawing here seems like something you’d see in games, comics, or 2D cartoon shows. It’s an easy thing to draw, but you need to maintain accuracy while working on the expression, and the wings of the dragon.

I find this drawing to be really interesting. It’s not really a dragon, but is meant to resemble one. This is what I call tattoo art. It’s a plain drawing, and doesn’t have any structural details at all. But it’s still quite nice to look at, and would make a really cool tattoo, or symbol. Hence, I thought I’d add this to the list as well.

In this step by step video tutorial, the artist will show you how to draw a realistic 2D dragon. It’s an amazing drawing, and I was really surprised to see how easily it can be drawn. It has a few details, some depth, and a proper structure. All these qualities make this drawing my favorite one on this list. The tutorial itself is really helpful, and you won’t have any trouble understanding it.
